Happy Wednesday Everyone,

1 Corinthians 10:13 There has no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above that you are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it.

One of the most compelling truths found in scripture is stated in this verse; “God is faithful.” It is our trust in Him and His faithfulness that secures victory for us in every trial. "God always causes us to triumph in Christ." 2 Corinthians 2:14 He does not cause us to triumph some of the time or even most of the time but always! No matter what the situation or issue, Christ Himself is our victory. Those who put their trust in Him will never be disappointed. "For whoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith." 1John 5:4  

"Satan is never permitted to block up our way, without the providence of God making a way through the wall. God ever makes a breach in his otherwise impregnable fortification. Should an upright soul get into difficulties and straits, he may rest assured that there is a way out, as there was a way in; and that the trial shall never be above the strength that God shall give him to bear it." Adam Clarke

We can rest assured knowing that our victory does not depend upon our abilities. Overcoming is not a function of what we can do, but rather what He has already done. When we seek a way of escaping the temptations and trials of this life, we need look no further than Christ our Lord. He is our Shepherd; He always provides.
