Isaiah 40_31
October 29
Happy Monday Everyone,
The scripture for today is Isaiah 40:31
Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Waiting upon the Lord is not a passive exercise. It is a spiritual state where, without agitation, there is a release of faith that says emphatically "I trust God." Those who trust Him know that their lives are in His hands and there is no other place that they would rather be. They are content with what they have because they know that whatever else they might need, He will provide. They are neither anxious about the future nor mired down by the past. Their lives are not only lived in the natural world, but they are also lived in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. They are in no hurry to move unless God directs them to do so. As a function of trusting in God and waiting upon Him, they get results in their lives that cannot be explained through natural means. The results (they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint) are supernatural.
God has called each of us to a walk with Him that transcends our natural ability. We can have all that He wants us to have and do all that He wants us to do if we will but wait upon Him.
God bless you as you continue in His service.
