The scripture for today is Luke 12:28

Luke 12:28 If then God so clothes the grass, which is today in the field, and tomorrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith?

God is the creator of all things and we understand that every living thing is sustained by His power. What He has made He provides for and sustains. The contrast between grass in the field and the masterpiece of God's creation, mankind, is made in our text today. God created both but for completely different purposes. Grass and man cannot be reasonably compared in the hierarchy of living things. God attends to the smallest details of life and nothing escapes His attention. He sees, He cares and He responds to our needs as we put our trust in Him. God does not force Himself upon us but He is always there for us, willing to provide what we need most. Our faith in His care for us elevates us above the stress of this life. Stress and faith do not coexist, just as love and fear cannot coexist. One dispels the other. God desires for us to live in faith and love, not stress and fear. When our confidence is in the One who made us, regardless of our personal perspective of surrounding conditions, faith grows and fear and the associated stress dissipate. If God provides for the grass, He will take care of us. But we must trust Him completely, knowing that His promise to us is "I will never leave you or forsake you." Hebrews 13:5 Why is it so important that we embrace this simple truth?

The days are upon us when we must trust God and His Word in order to overcome the increased pressures of this world's system. The world has rapidly degenerated into a Godless, faithless, chaotic and confused place to be. Only those who learn to put their complete trust in Christ, relying upon Him and Him alone, will survive in these last days. While the world is growing darker and darker, the light of God's presence in His people will shine brighter and brighter. We have nothing to fear; we have everything to rejoice about. Jesus is coming soon! God has placed us here for such a time as this. His requirements for His people living in the last days are the same as His requirements has been for His people throughout the ages: Trust God, do not fear, be steadfast in faith, and be filled with His Holy Spirit. We must allow Him to lead us into a life of obedience to His Word and the inheritance of His promises. Compromise with the world will always lead away from adherence to God's Word and into defeat. Heart surrender and sincere obedience to the Word of God is the path to victory. God will provide, He will deliver, and He will manifest His glory through His redeemed ones!

God bless you as you continue in His service.
