Happy Wednesday Everyone,

The scripture for today is Proverbs 8:35

Proverbs 8:35  For whosoever finds me finds life, and shall obtain favor of the LORD.

Proverbs chapter 8 defines the merits and value of wisdom; wisdom which only comes from God. "For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it." Proverbs 8:11 Of all the attributes that one could desire, wisdom is supreme. Why? Because, as our scripture for today clearly says, "For whosoever finds me (wisdom) finds life, and shall obtain favor of the LORD." Finding life and obtaining the Lord's favor, what better gifts could one possibly desire?

The obvious question now is, how does one acquire this wonderful gift of wisdom? The Bible gives us the answer to that question. "But of Him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption" 1 Corinthians 1:30   "For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. And you are complete in Him..." Colossians 2:9-10 Jesus Christ is our only source of true wisdom. A life that is surrendered to Christ is a life that is lived in wisdom. There is no wisdom apart from Him. In fact the answer to all of life's needs is the Lord Jesus Christ. All that we need can be found in Him and He is available to all who sincerely desire Him; not a half-hearted desire but a desire so strong that everything else in life is surrendered to achieve it. God gives us this wonderful promise, "And you shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:13

God bless you as you continue in His service.
