September 25
Happy Tuesday Everyone,

The scripture for today is Psalm 95:1

Psalms 95:1 O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

Our belief and trust in God is expressed most powerfully when we are in the midst of adverse circumstances. How we respond when things are not going well is the truest measure of our faith. God does not change with the loss of a job or the election of a new president or any other life-affecting situation. God is forever the same and He is the One who is in control of our destinies. Irrespective of what goes on around us, our lives are in the hands of God. We choose to speak from that point of reference. Therefore we do not waste our time cursing the darkness, bashing the government or fretting over lost opportunities. We have the light of Jesus Christ to shine into the darkness of this world. He is the rock of our salvation, stronger than any mountain, and our feet are planted firmly upon Him. Regardless of the news of the world, death, pain or suffering "we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28  We love God and our expressions flow from that love. We do not curse, we bless; we do not fear, we have faith; we do not hate, we love; we do not complain, we pray.  We are: Born again, Spirit filled, God fearing, Bible believing, Jesus loving, Commandment keeping, children of the Most High God. When others give up and run, we stand. When the world loses hope, we trust in our God. We have an anchor that steadies us in the time of storm and a peace that the world cannot give. "O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation."

God bless you as you continue in His service.
