The scripture for today is Revelation 14:12

Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

In these last days the enemy will do all that he can to draw the world's attention away from the God of creation. But those who reject this strategy of Satan will embrace the Word of God, living lives of loving obedience and surrender to the Creator. They will be labeled by the world, and the compromised church, as unwilling to embrace progressive inclusiveness, narrow minded, legalists, religious fanatics, bigots, etc. Those who live in obedience to God's Word have always been ostracized by those who listen to the voice of the devil. For anyone to be included in the definition "saints," they would have to have the characteristics identified in our text for today. First, they keep the commandments of God; not just the ones that they favor, but all of His moral law, just as He spoke it with His own voice and wrote in stone with His own finger. If we are to be identified as God's very own, we must live lives that are surrendered to His Word and His will. Partial obedience is disobedience. No one will be able to stand before God in the judgment and say, "I obeyed most of what you said." God's people in the last days will follow Him because they love Him. They love Him enough to surrender all that they have and all that they are to Him. They will not change His Word or accept Satan's counterfeits. They will not compromise or seek the approval of men. They will stand firmly on the unchanging Word of God. They "loved not their lives unto the death." Revelation 12:11  

There have always been only two roads from which to choose. The wide road has many lanes, but they all lead to the same place. The narrow road has only one lane, one path to follow. That path is clearly marked with the footsteps of Jesus Christ. His Word shines upon that path to make it easy to see and easy to follow. We can choose either the narrow road that leads to glory or the fool's highway. The true child of God has made that choice. "I have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back, no turning back."
